WE STILL ARE SEEKING ASSISTANT AND JUNIOR COACHES FOR THE 2018 SEASON!!
Are you interesting in joining our swim coaching staff, or are you a returning Fighting Fish coach? Both new candidates and those wishing to return must submit an application. There are two types of coaches:
- Assistant Coach: Assistant coaches must be at least 15 years old with a minimum of 1 year club or varsity swim team experience. Applicants must display maturity and the ability to interact professionally and patiently with adults, peers, and younger swimmers. Assistant coaches will independently lead age group practices and instruct swimmers of ability levels on proper technique in all 4 strokes, starts and turns. These are paid positions.
- Junior Coach: Junior coaches must be at least 11 years old. One year of club or varsity swim team experience is preferred, but demonstrated commitment to the Fighting Fish program and the ability to work well with young children will be considered. Junior coaches may be asked to assist in a variety of ways including in the water and one-on-one with swimmers. All junior coaches must swim for the Fighting Fish during meets, at least as relay swimmers. These are volunteer positions.
